Today, in completely normal things that I did: I made a playdo and molded it into a brain.
To make playdo:
2 c. water
2 c. flour (plus extra while kneading)
1 c. salt
2 Tbs. cream of tartar
2 Tbs. olive oil
Food coloring of your choice
Heat the water in a large pot. If you’re using food coloring, go ahead and add a bunch to the water. You can’t really use too much. Sift dry ingredients together into a bowl. Add this mixture, a half a cup at a time, to the warm water. You can even sift it into the water, if you’re patient. Stir to remove lumps. As the mixture gets thicker it will start to pull away from the sides of the pot. Add some oil. Remove the pot from heat and continue to add the flour mix. When the mixture gets too thick to stir you can start kneading it. Add more flour and keep kneading. The playdo will get less sticky as it cools down, but you can also add more flour or oil to achieve the right consistency. I didn’t have food coloring, so I added vanilla flavoring to make it smell pretty. Sparkles would be fun, too.
